một means "one" in vietnamese. we're not japanese, and we don't pretend to be. our matcha comes from japan, sourced from growers who have spent generations perfecting it. but the name comes from us, and from the vietnamese homes we grew up in, where sharing a drink was always a way of showing care.

for us, một represents simplicity and intention: finding the one matcha you genuinely love and making it part of your everyday routine. we started một to share thoughtfully sourced japanese matcha, alongside ceramics and tea tools that make the experience feel more personal.
