Cobalt Chawan Set
$65.00 USD
Made for Caffeine Depot, our specialty pop-up café in the San Francisco Bay Area where it all started.
Before một, there was Caffeine Depot, serving coffee and matcha to our community and shaping how we think about every cup.
Glazed in a deep, rich cobalt blue, this set is a nod to where we come from and the bowls we whisk in every day.
Due to their handmade nature, every piece varies slightly in color and form from what's pictured, making each set one of a kind.
Chasen not included. Pair it with our shin chasen.
frequently asked questions
Are your ceramics food-safe?
Yes! All of our ceramics are food-safe and lead-free, so you can sip, whisk, and serve with total peace of mind.
Are they microwave-safe?
We recommend keeping them out of the microwave. Our pieces are handmade for matcha, and sudden temperature changes can cause cracking.
For the same reason, avoid pouring boiling water into a cold bowl. Warming it with hot tap water first works best.
How do I clean my ceramics?
Handwash only, please! A gentle rinse with warm water and mild soap is all they need. Skip the dishwasher and harsh scrubbers to keep the glaze looking beautiful for years to come.
